Closet Space uses multiple categories in its gameplay. To help the audience follow along with the game, I designed a dresser where each category is given its own drawer. When a contestant chooses a category, the drawer disappears.
In order to stick with Closet Space's mid-century aesthetic, I pulled inspiration from UPA animation and Hanna-Barbera.
Closet Space uses pre-recorded messages as a part of its gameplay. I created a variety of graphics that could be used as visualizers for each message. Each style has multiple colors that match each contestant's assigned color. I use both waveforms and simple on/off animations to represent the audio.

Since the graphics would be re-used with different audios I created the animations using scripts in AfterEffects. This way, all I'd have to do is link the audio with the script instead of re-animating everything for each episode.
